How It Works

Course Outline

The HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation unit is delivered through a blended model that combines essential online theory with a focused, hands-on practical assessment.

Curriculum

Before attending your practical session, you will complete a short, self-paced online module. This covers the essential principles of CPR and defibrillation, ensuring you arrive at the class ready for the hands-on assessment.

This session is entirely hands-on. Our expert trainers will guide you as you demonstrate your competence through a series of practical scenarios, including:

    • Performing at least 2 minutes of CPR on an adult manikin.

    • Performing CPR on an infant manikin.

    • Using an AED training device correctly.
